1. Purpose of the website
This website allows customers to view vehicle options, contact Ogando Rent Car and send a rental request. Using the website or sending a request means you agree to use the service lawfully and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
2. A booking request is not yet a confirmed rental
Submitting the online form creates a request for the selected vehicle or a similar available option. A request becomes confirmed only after Ogando Rent Car communicates availability and the applicable rental rate or other relevant details directly with the customer.
3. No online payment
The website does not collect a rental payment or charge a payment card. Payment arrangements are handled directly with Ogando Rent Car as part of the confirmed rental process. A website submission by itself does not represent payment.
4. Vehicle availability and “or similar” vehicles
Vehicle availability can change. Images and model names help customers understand the type of vehicle requested, but a listing marked “or similar” may be fulfilled with a comparable available vehicle after direct confirmation with the customer.
5. Rates and rental-specific requirements
Rates are provided directly by Ogando Rent Car based on the request and applicable rental details. The website does not publish a rate that automatically creates a binding price commitment.
Any rental-specific requirements that apply — such as driver documentation, security deposit, insurance choices, fuel, permitted use, vehicle condition, damage, extensions or return conditions — must be communicated by Ogando Rent Car and presented in the applicable rental agreement or confirmation. This website does not invent or replace those final rental terms.
6. Customer information
Customers should provide accurate contact, date, time and location information. If plans change, contact Ogando Rent Car as soon as reasonably possible so the team can confirm whether the requested change is available.
7. Pickup, airport and other locations
Free pickup is available at Gregorio Luperón International Airport (POP) and at pickup locations throughout Sosúa and Cabarete. Pickup or return arrangements outside those areas, and any special scheduling details, are confirmed directly with Ogando Rent Car.
8. Final rental agreement
Before receiving a vehicle, the customer may be asked to review and accept a separate rental agreement containing the actual terms applicable to that rental. If there is a conflict between these website booking terms and a valid final rental agreement, the final rental agreement governs the vehicle rental itself, subject always to rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in these website terms is intended to remove or restrict mandatory consumer rights under applicable law. Consumer protection in the Dominican Republic includes Law No. 358-05 and its applicable rules.
10. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or embed independent services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and YouTube. Their availability and privacy practices are controlled by those providers, not by Ogando Rent Car.
11. Website availability
We aim to keep the website and booking form available, but temporary maintenance, connectivity issues or third-party service interruptions may occur. If the form is unavailable, customers can contact Ogando Rent Car directly by phone, WhatsApp or email.
